General info:

This AU takes place after the events of Season 9 of MLP:FiM and is a Next Gen AU! In this specific Next Gen, all the ships featured are popular ships, like Flashlight, to put an example. This is why this AU's "codename" is "Original AU".

The story follows Esther, a shy Draconequus Princess and her journey as she learns to make friends with a group of ponies from Ponyville. She'll have to learn that as much as she might believe otherwise, her friends like her as she is, and that is why she should shed her pony disguise and let her friends welcome her with open arms and wings as her true self.

Except, it never is that simple.

For every up, there's a down, and on the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, when she decided to be true to herself, terror struck.

A powerful... Somepony? Took Princess Lawless Sunrise away, along with the magic of many of the party guests! Including some of Esther's own. Where could she possibly be? Esther feels awful, her poor sister... But what's this? A tingle in her magic...? Sunrise! She must be calling out to her!
